Request an addition to the District Calendar:
Please E-Mail the required information to "support [at] rotary7640 [dot] org".You MUST include the following information:
Event Name
Event Date and Time
Event Location
Event Description
Event Contact Including:
If you have a Flyer to go with your Calendar Event and you want it uploaded, it, a PDF is recommended. Word processing documents are acceptable, but Microsoft Publisher Documents are not.
Send Pictures for use on the District Web Site or District Newsletter:
Pictures are Intellectual Property and are actually OWNED by someone. You cannot, for example, copy a picture from someone's Web site to place it on your OWN Web site [or the District's Web site].If you or someone you know is the photographer who took the pictures and you want to send them to us, please feel free to send them to "support [at] rotary7640 [dot] org".
Please include a description of each picture so that we can label them.
NOTE: By sending us the picture you are giving us permission to use it on the District Web site or in the District Newsletter!.
If you want to use pictures from other sources such as a Newspaper, you MUST get permission from the Owner. For a Newspaper, typically the owner is the Newspaper.
Sometimes the owner is the Photographer, and so you must get permission directly from him or her.
If you are not sure whether you can use a picture, send it to us with a note on where you got it from. We can usually figure out whether or not we can use it.
NOTE: For safety's sake we will NOT use any picture that we do not have absolute permission to use.
